SME discovery, qualification and objection-handling training
This is a working demonstration of a sales discovery-training platform, built around the solution areas most Irish MSPs and technology partners actually sell to SMEs. Everything here is fully functional — the playbooks, the AI roleplay, the scoring and the manager reporting.
The same platform can be configured to your own portfolio, your own solution areas and your own qualification criteria. Get in touch to talk about a version built around your business →
Every solution area below runs a full structured discovery path — the four rungs of the Discovery Ladder: Situation, Problem, Impact and a Value close — not just a single question and a guess. Answer as the customer would, and the tool scores the opportunity in real time. Or jump into the Virtual Sales Call to run the whole thing live against a freshly generated SME, with no time limit.
The 8 solution areas
These are the service areas that appeared most consistently across a review of Irish managed service providers selling to SMEs. They are deliberately vendor-neutral — no product names, no vendor-specific packaging — so the discovery skills transfer to whatever portfolio you actually sell.
The Discovery Ladder
The Discovery Ladder is a four-stage discovery-questioning sequence — Situation, Problem, Impact, Value — a general consultative-selling approach. It's used here purely as a descriptive training framework and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or derived from any commercial sales-training program or its materials.

This demonstration uses generic solution areas. A configured version is built around your actual services, your qualification criteria, your customer roles and your market — with the same AI roleplay, scoring, leaderboard and manager reporting.
Talk to us about your versionThe core skills every call draws on — opening well, asking questions that actually uncover something, handling pushback without getting defensive, positioning the fix in the customer's terms, and knowing when an opportunity is genuinely worth pursuing. Work through these before the Solution Area Playbooks and the virtual call — they're the "why" behind both.
Pick a focus area below to learn what it is and why it matters, then practice a guided discovery path — Situation, Problem, Impact, Value — to see how you'd qualify a real conversation. If an area turns out to be a genuine dead end, you'll get the option to cross-sell into a different one, just like a real call rarely ends after one "no."
Changes the actual questions and coaching you'll see below — same context model as the Virtual Sales Call. Leave anything on "Any / Not set" to keep it generic.
A fresh SME profile every time — different industry, size and the person you're speaking to, generated live so it's never the same call twice. Run a real discovery conversation for as long as you need and watch the panel score you live.
Generate a new company and persona, then run a discovery conversation for as long as you like. You'll get a live qualification score as you go, and a full scorecard at the end.
Pick a focus area and the customer will have a genuine hidden need there — plus one or two others so the business still feels real. It stays hidden: you have to uncover it through good discovery questions, exactly like a real call.
Picking an industry, contact role, size and/or difficulty biases which focus areas are more likely to come up, how the contact responds to questions outside their role, and how hard the call is to work — practice for propensity-led selling, not just random luck. This is a training heuristic based on general sales patterns, not verified market data. Leave anything on "Any / Random" for a fully random call.
